The source subsequently developed information indicating that this individual is Robert Earl Filner, son of Joseph Filner, an associate of Staniey Levison. According to the source, Levison, subsequent to his contact with Conyers, told Joseph Filner that he had spoken to Conyers about Bobby and that the job would be in Conyers’ office but that Conyers would not be able to pay him. 2 in Conyers' office would be and Levison stated it would be about $12,000.00. Filner also questioned whether it would be dishonest to make a contribution to Conyers in this amount and Levison, although he felt it would not be dishonest, recommended that Filner establish a research grant for one of the. perséns on Conyers' staff thereby allowing Bobby to replace him.
