O'Dell, who indicated he had returned to New York from a trip out of town,\told Levison thet he hed not seen Hatcher (Mayor RichardNgatcher of Gary, Indiana) but did see Hatcher's . assistant, one Jessi& Bell. O'Dell indicated he was uncertain about one point to be ‘brought up and contacted Leviseon because he plenned to be in touch with Hatcher on February 18, 1969. Levison said he had made arrangements with Harry (Belefonte) who would like to heve dinner with him. He suggested that O'Dell ask Hatcher if he could be available for the dinner get together. He added that O'Dell could tell him that Herry end himself want to discues the NCI. Levison felt thet if Belafonte hed no objection, O'Dell should be present but O'Dé11 was hesitant.
