Date __10/25/69- —_ Miss MARION GRACE LEECH, 1027 West 6th Street, Los Angeles, was interviewed at her place of employment at Better Business Bureau (BBB), 307 West 8th Street, Los Angeles. After Agente advised Mias LEECH why she was being contacted and identified themselves, she was told she did not have to talk to Agents unlesa she so desired, She waa also told that any statements made by her during this interview might be used in a court of law against her. She was also told she was entitled tochave an attorney of tr choice present during the interview. Miss LEECH after being apprised of the reason for the Iintervigy, said she did not know anything about a letter which had been written to STEVE ALLEN which bore her name and address typed thereon, therefore, she did not hesitate in talking with Agents about it. Miss LEECH said she lives alone in an apartment at 1027 West 6th Street, Los Angeles. She said she is 74 years of age and for the past five years has been employed as a mail clerk and switchboard operator at the BBB in Los Angeles, California. She said for 25 years immediately preceding thie employment, she was employed by the California Motor Vehicle Bureau in Los Angeles. Miss LEECH advised she is not anember of any union or clubs (profesional or social) and does not aasociate with any group of people other than those with which she works and the congregation at the First Congregational Church at Commonwealth and 3ixth Street in Los Angeles. Miss LEECH said she seldom writes letters to anyone and then only to close ffrtends. She recalls having received letters except from friends from a Boys Club in Kentucky and the Community Chest in Los Angeles. Miss LEECH after reading the letter addressed to STEVE ALLEN which carries her name and address typed at the bottom thereon, stated she had no idea who could have written such a letter, She advised although she recognizes - 23 - On ___10/13/60st __307 west 8th Street, File #_Los angeles 9.2408 by Thi Los Angeles, California e docu BER. mendations nor conclusions of the FBI.
