* . * - ‘ / 4 +. TRANQUILIZERS - A Valuable Weapon in Chemical Warfare Are Supreme Court Judges victims of a Communistic plot? Scientists have recently discovered through research that some tranquilizers tea recentiy in the conduct of an important executive of a large cor- poration. He took a tranquilizing pill before writing an Important address he was scheduled to make to his boerd of directors, but the Speech was a complete flop and the board decided to find a new man for his job. How do we imow that agents of the Russian government are not sliipping a few pills into the food or beverages of members of the Supreme Court or that Russian agents have not found ways to get men- bers of the Court to take the pills while they are in the process of deciding what action should be taken on important issues? Tranquil- izers are being used by millions of people in the U.5S.; they are guaranteed to relieve the users of anxiety and tension when they are confronted by serious problems, some of which may involve their wel- fare and reputations. At such times, anxiety causes most normal people to face their problems and do their best to solve then. Use of tranquilizers by members of the Supreme Court might very well account for the decision that enables lawyers representing Com- munists to examine confidential records of the F.B.I. and thereby secure acquittal of their clients and possibly endanger the lives of those who have given confidential information to the F.B.I. Numer- ous lawyers have been unable to discover a rational explanation for the ruling of the Court on this matter. a P ak =o ot e Bouth by fo < a re < a Su n 3 . r years.
