S.2646 seeks to abolish the appellate jurisdiction of the Supreme Court in connectton with (1) the functtons of congressional committees; (2) programs dealing with aubverston tn the executive branch of the Government; (3) state laws which deal with subversives within the state; (4) rules adopted by school boards or similar bodies dealing with subverstve activities among teaching bodies; and (5) laws, rules and regulations of any State Board of Bar Examiners or similar bodies with regard to action taken pertaining to admission of persons to practice Jaw within a state. | thts proposed legislation is entirely regulatory in nature and does not affect the Bureau's jurisdiction. b L—“\"¥/* Patterson has be e correspondence since February, 1947.
