Of that number four cases directly involved the FBI: Wayte v. U.S. sustained the conviction of a man who failed to register with the Selective Service over his claim of selective prosecution; oe U.S. Department of Justice v. Provenzano, involving the Freedom ™~. ~ of Information, Act request of Anthony Provenzano, was remanded t ; \ the District Court without decision in light of subsequently’ } ' enacted legislation mooting the issue; U.S. v. Miller concerned ~ the sufficiency of proof necessary to sustain a mail fraud dy conviction; and Mitchell v.
