D. C., called my office today requesting informajion concern- —————-—

a ot
he FBI National Police Academy. He specifically wanted to
Imow whether a member of his organization was eligible to attend
the Academy. I informed him that I could not definitely state
whether a member of his organization was eligible for attendance
(/ advising him that the matter of eligibility would have to be con-
sidered by higher officiale of the Bureau.
A copy of the Bureau's publication, "The FBI National
Police Academy - Questions and Answers" and an application blank
were given to Private and it was suggested that upon receipt
of the executed application the Bureau would advise his superior

preme Court as to whether his organization was eligible or not.
Private F «:: informed that even though 4 member of
his organization was eligible to attend the Academy, it would be
impossible to consider an application for the last session of the
Academy this year, and that the earliest possible consideration
which could be given an application would be for the second or
third session in the ‘year 1942,
