In response to the request of the Assistant Attorney
General, Civil Rights Division, for personal statements regarding
knowledge of break-ins or surreptitious entries since January 1,
1966, 1 wish to state the following:
[I have no personal knowledge of any break-ins
or surreptitious entries performed by Bureau Agents or others
with prior or subsequent knowledge by Bureau Agents since
January 1, 1966, other than information contained in correspondence
to the Department of Justice which I had occasion to review in my
official capacity prior to transmittal to the Department of Justice.
