At the fisid office level, Special Agents coordinate with the appropriate United States Attorney in the judicial district where installation is desired in the preparation of affidavits regarding the desired interception. The affidavit is forwarded to the FBI Headquarters for review by appropriate supervisory personnel, Legal Cousel Division, and the Director.
