Re: SURREPTITIOUS ENTRIES
RECOMMENDATIONS :
l. That, in accordance with requests in Category
A, Questions 1-10, of the Civil Rights Division's request of
4/21/76, necessary steps be taken by IS-3 Section to insure
appropriate material is made available, when called, at
Headquarters; that field offices be notified of the Depart—
mental request when appropriate.
2. That, as regards Category B, Questions 1-10,
and Category C, Questions 4 and 6, IS-2 Section take appro-
priate steps to identify the subjects of these requests
pertaining to the SWP and WUO, and insure that requested
material is available, when needed, at Headquarters and in
the field.
3. That, with respect to Category C, Questions
1-3 and 5, IS-3 Section initiate efforts to respond; that
New York Office be advised immediately of the pending review.
4. That, with regard to Question 9, Category B,
that the Bureau check Cine <cords,
we attempt to clarify with Departmental Attorney Gardner
the nature of this question prior to initiating action to
respond.
