These activities did not escape the scrutiny of our national OGPU. A few
months ago I received an anonymous call from a man who identified himself as an agent o

going to "revenge" itself on me, not only for defeating them in the Fifties and getting rid

Sure, enough, it happened. I received letters from the IRS in Andover,” “ix:
to the effect that I had paid only some $13,000 on my 1967 income. I went over my check
and discovered five different checks signed by me to the criminals in 1967, and bearing
their endorsement, and the sum was over $21,000, far above the amount of “owed" taxes.
I wrote to ‘Andover several times, in registered letters, giving them the number of my che
the amounts, the date of cancellation by the Treasury, etc. Finally, after four letters, I
received an apology from the District Director in Andover. 1 thought the matter ended.
Then the local office got busy, and wrote. me saying that I had paid only $13
fin taxes for 1967, and owed some $4,000 more. I wrote them a gegistered letter, with ac
of my letter to the Andover, Mass., office, and all the other iniormation. I suggested th
get in touch with my CPA, Mr. Reifer, of Buffalo. I héard no more until I received a call
two days ago froma Mr. Bellinini of the IRS wanting to see my checks - though the CPA. i
