Rewards are also being offered for
the arrest and conviction in the murders
of Melissa Smith and Laura Ann Aime.
The bodies of the two teen-age girls
_were found last fall, murdered and

No suspects have been arrested in
any of the cases.
Also unsolved is the murder of
Barbara Jean Rocky, a 22-year-old
1Brigham Young University coed who
was found slain in March, 1974, in Big
Cottonwood Canyon.

Salt Lake County "Sheriff's Capt.
N.D. Hayward was forced to release one
suspect after insufficient evidence’
failed to produce a criminal complaint
from the county attorney’s office.
He now says his office has retraced
its steps, firmed up the evidence and -
will probably seek a criminal complaint
against a suspect within the next month.
; Utah County Sheriff Mack Holley,
investigating the Aime case, says he has
not fared so well.
