They simply do not present a matter either in the form of a petition for a writ of certiorari or a petition for an extraordinary writ which can be docketed in this Court. The Supreme Court is an appellate court which reviews judgments of lower state and federal courts involving issues of federal law. A judgment of a lower court may be reviewed on a writ of certiorari provided the petition for a writ of certiorari is filed within 90 days of the entry of the judgment sought to be reviewed, or within 90 days of the denial of a timely filed petition for rehearing. Your papers do not address a judgment of a lower court entered within the 90-day period. Thus the Court has no jurisdiction to consider them on a petition for a writ of certiorari. “See Rules 17 to 21.
