In an advertisement in "The New York Times" the group, headed by author waldo Frank, offered to send "the truth about revolutionary Cuba" to anyone who wrote asking for information. In addition to Frank, sponsors of this advertisement include Truman Capote, Simone De Beauvoir, Norman Mailer, Kenneth Tynan, and Jean Paul . "Sartre.
