If OSWAID could kave escaped te Cuba by way ef —
Mexico after committing tke crime in Dallas, it would have .
been easier fer "Fair Play" te cover up the matter ef its
‘contacts with the suppesed assassin; but the fact is that
the plans fer the flight failed, and OSWALD was arrested,
and subsequently, assassinated in turn, without its having
been possible te ebtain a complete confession from hin
about his activities and his contacts.
At any rate, OSWAID had left behind hia, im New)
Orleans and in other places, some data about his rela-.
tions with the "Fair Play for Connunist Cuba", which
it was not possible to eliminate, BRINGUIER, the repre-
sentative of the Revolutionary Student Directery in New .
Orleans, is endowed with an excellent memory, and recalls Se
that strange individual who had wanted to infiltrate the =
ranks of the anti-Communist Cubans in order to serve the
"apparatus" of Communist Cuba in the United States. But the
thread got all tangled up, much te the despair ef the leaders
of the “Fair Play".

For more than two years, the United States Senate
Judiciary Committee had been investigating the activities
ef the “Fair Play". The results ef its investigations are
published in some ten volumes, replete with documents,
Statements and conclusions compromising te the organization
which defends the Communist tyranny prevailing in Cuba.
More than once, during the course of these investigatiens,
the press of the “useful fools" criticized the activities
ef the Judiciary Gommittee and said that this was a "witch
hunt", References te the deceased Senator McCarthy, whe
had denounced the machinations ef the Communists for several |
years, filtered into those statements in an attempt te
discredit them, With arrogantly proveking and even insulting a
poses, the menbers ef the Fair Play for Communist Cuba"
answered the Judiciary Committee when they appeared befere
it. Ingenueus and misinformed people allowed themselves te
be misled by that propaganda te the point that they believed
that the "Fair Play" was a victim ef injustice, The Senaters
and Representatives who carried en those investigations, as
well as their legal and police advisers, had sounded the
alarm leng im advance and had peinted out the danger ef the
Cuban Communist "apparatus" im the United States; but no
ene paid any atteatien to them, in spite of the seriousness
of their revelatiens.
