The organizetioen and physical location of wits of this Diss trict were most suitable for collectinn these data, therefore, since December 1948, this District has assumed the responsibility for collect- ing and reporting tasic information with respect to aerial rhenomena occurring in this peneral area, These reports have heen distributed to the Air Iateriel Cermand, USAF, in accordence with Air Intelligence Requirc:rrents Ho, 4, and to other intercsted military and government _apencies, be . 2, There is attached, as a part of this summary, a compilation of serial phenomena sifhtings that have. occurred mostly in the New Hexico area and have been reported by this District Office subsequent to December 1948, This compilation of siphtings is not a complete record _of all reported observations, but includes only those in which sufficient informtion was available: te justily their inclusion.
