present agreement has been set up with the Atr Force whereby
the Atr Force conducts all investigations pertatning to flying
saucers and the Bureau, upon receiving complaints of this natures
merely turns the complaints over to the Office of Spectal
investigations (OST),
to Air Intelligence,
which tn turn transmits the information
Air Intelligence has set up the Air
Technical Intelligence Center at Hright=Patterson Atr Force
Base, Dayton, Ohto, for the purpose of coordinating and handling
of research pertaining to flying saucers.
Inquiry was conducted tn order to determine, if
possible, the source for the information appearing tn the
attached article regarding FBI tnvestigations.

Colonel L. L. Free in charge of the Esptonage Branch,
Counter=jIntelligence Division,
advised that no one in OSI has been contacted by QAM and he
suggested direct contact by the Bureau Representative with
Air Intelligence to determine if
