Davis, They all stated substantially the same . and described bearing an intermittant noise resembling the blast of a det Fighter Aircraft. Each noise lested for about three ani one kalf (35) seconds ani would reow frequently between 1956 hours and 2004 hours on 16 October 1950, Each noise would sound like a jet plane whioh had increased ite thrust tremeniously, The sounds seemed to leave the vicinity mking an ascent — almost vertical. Nome of the guards could see an object in the sky. : On 17 October 1950, Major L. E. Romiger, Sr, Instructor, ORC Group, Oak Ridge, Tennessee, returned fros Nashville, Temnesese, and visited an official of the Security Division, Atomic Energy Comission, Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
