On September 28, 1968, an SA of the FBI observed a
rally at 12:00 noon on that date sponsored by the VREWV at
Pier 52, Gansevoort Street and the Hudson River, New York
City.
A skit was performed where a live pig was
nominated for President of the United States. An in-
dividual dressed in black representing an anarchist at-
tempted to assassinate the pig and was thrown into the
Hudson River.
Placards displayed read as follows:
"Pig For President”
*Dump the Hump and Free the Pig"
The rally ended at atout 12:30 pm, at which tine
the participants marched to Tompkins Square, New York City,
for a “pignic"™ and held a rally for ELDRIDGE CLEAViR. This
rally distended at 2:30 pm.
