Leaflets announcing the welcome of "HANOI ROSE"
from "Tic Tok, North Viet Nam" at the Recruiting Station
and announcing her future appearance at a "Freedom
Booth" at Wrightstown Center, Fort Dix, New Jersey, from
1:00 pm to 6:00 pm, on November 3, 1968, were distributed.
In addition, roses were also distributed to
passersby.
“HANOI ROSE", wearing an Oriental dress, gave
a press interview and announced through KEITH LAMPE, who
4s affiliated with the YIP, and who acted as her inter-
preter, that she came to the United States to "look the
GIs in the eye".
ABBIE HOFFULN announced that “HANOI ROSE" would
aptear at other military bases in the United States,
naming a few as being Fort Dix, New Jersey, Fort Devens,
Massachusetts, and Fort Ord, California. the appearance
at Fort Ord, ¢alifornia, will be coordinated with the YIP
group on the West Coast who will join with the Black
anthers for this avopearance.
ABBIE HOFFMAN also announced that there will be
an "Election Celebration" at Times Square in New York
City, on November 5, 1968, at 10:00 pu, at which time
they would eat their presidential candidate, the "pig",
at an undisclosed restaurant.
The interviews with the press terminated at
12:45 pm and the group dispersed. 67D
