Basically, his only sympathizers in the audience were a group of approximately 100 students from Indiana University, Purdue University, and Wabash College. In the audience were signs favoring Mayor DALEY and the United States Governmenh. The crowd chanted “We Want Daley” when HOFFMAN entered the auditorium. HOFFMAN's speech eonsisted of his usual statements and he incurred much hostility throughout the speech. ‘The speech concluded at approximately 11:00 p.m., CST.
