On the evenings of May 11,12, 1968, the
"At Random" television program was aired
on the Columbia Broadcasting System Television
(CBS-TV), Channel 2, Chicago, Illinois,
with moderator, John Madigon. Among the
participants on part two of these programs
Ld ywas Abbie Hoffman, who identified himself as

@ representative of the Youth International
Party (YIP). During the ensuing discussion,
Hoffman was asked if he was in favor of the
overthrow of the United States Government by
the moderator, and Hoffman replied that he
was in favor of the overthrow of the United
States Government by any means possible.
