3 and a dirty sports shirt held in by a large black leather
> belt. HOFPHAN's hair was fully grown, like a female; dark
brown, curly unkempt. HOFFMAN, who appears to be alert,
speaks in the Jargon of the “beatnik”, using expressions
like "man". "my thing", "the establishment", and "I want to
turn you on”. He is evasive and apnears to enjoy being the
center of attention. HOFFMAN was cautious but not hostile
— during the interview. He made no complaint about being
mo interviewed but made it clear that he felt that he was on
wend _the opposite side of "things" to the Federal Bureau of
Investigation. ‘
