These individuais stated they planned to panve « “Festival of Life" in Chicago which would include the folloving sechecaule of events: August 20-24, 1968: Tre’ning Classes in Defense Against the Police, Trair nc on Medical and Legal subjects; August 25, 1968: Night Music Festival, Body Painting, eta; ; August 26, 1962; Yoarkshonrs and Discussions or Drugs, the Draft, Street Theater, ete.: An evening beack party planned, The above indivicuals stated they wanted ?4- hour access to Chicago public parks They statec the Chicago Government is a "Hostile System" ; they “Don't Like Chicago" and they would "Come Prepared to fight and die in Lincoln Park and tear up the town and the Convention" STAHL advised he does not recall which individual made the above statements. ABBIE HOFFMAN stated, "If you were smart you'd give us $10C,000 to not hold the festival.
