Hoffman was booked with Pan Am to leave NYC for St. Thomas, United States Virgin Islands on Pan Am Flight 269 at 30:15 a.m. on September 275 1971, This flight was scheduled to arrive at St. Thomas at 1:50 p.m. on September e7, i971. ced further advised that Abbott Hoffman had an open return ticket. On September 27, 1971, Special Agents (SAS) of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) observed Abbott Hoffman board Pan Am Flight 209 at 9:45 a.m. alone at John F, Kennedy International Airport (JFKIA), Queens, New York (NY). This flight departed NY at 10:15 a.m. and was scheduled to arrive at St. Thomas, United States ‘Virgin Islands at 1:50 p.m. 1971, the SAS of the FBI reviewed the records of Pan Am at the Pan Am Departure Terminal, JFKIA, Queens, NY, which disclosed that "Mr. A.
