Abe Fortas bl b2 Owen Lattimore was indicted by Federal Grand Jurie in the District of Columbia during 1952 and 1954. He was charged with committing perjury while testifying before a United States Senate Committee during 1951 and 1952, in tha he denied personal communist sympathy or activities and association with persons known to him as communists.
