Adolf A. Berle, attorney, advised in Washington, D. C., that he is a former Assistant Secretary of State and that he has known Mr. Fortas very well for over twenty-five years. He said they were closely associated in Government and since leaving the Government they have served together on the Board of Directors of SuCrest Corporation. He said Mr. Fortas possesses high moral character and that he is an honorable man.
