STEVENSON, Illinois, advised as follows: Senator STEVENSON is aware that Representative ABNER J. MIKVA of Illinois is being considered for appoint- ment to the position of Circuit Judge of the U. S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Judicial Circuit. Senator STEVENSON has known Mr. MIKVA intimately for approx- imately the past twenty years and described him as being a man of impeccable integrity and a man of great professional ability.
