Mike McCarry was always in these meetings in case there needed to ba some sort of statement made to the press. he third meeting was the daily meating of the White House Counsel Staff, which usually atarted at 9;00 am. Mikwa advised that everyone on the staff would talk about what they were working on and the progress being made. This meeting usually lasted 45 minutes to one hour. Mikva advised that he is sure that there were some references to the 1996 alection campaign during these meetings; however, he does not remember any @iscussion of Fund-raising activities. He stated that he wag gure that none of thege iseues (fund-raising activities) spilled over into his office. Mikva advised that he is currently a visiting professor of law at the University of Chicaga haw School. Mikva advised that he is the Walter Schaffer Fellowship Chair and teaches a dourgse on leqisiative processes at the law school. He is also scheduled to do visiting teaching at the University of Oregon and the University of Nebracka. He also writes for “The Legal Times" and “Law Review." Finally, he is on the staff of Jama/Eadispute, a private entity involved in alternate dispute resolution (ADR).
