STRINGFIELD,Director, 7017 Britton Avenue Cincinnati 27, Ohio MISCELLANEOUS -INFORMATION CONCERNING On March 251957LEONARD H STRINGFIELD appeared at the Cincinnati Office for the purpose of calling attention to a letter dated March 19 1957 which he had received from EvA ReIcH, M.D.Mrs. WILLIAM S.MOIsERoute lP.0.Box 721Alexandria Virginia,telephone South 5-7081). For the information of the Bureau and the Norfolk Office, Company Inc.,ll20 W.Front Street Cincinnati, Ohio.According to STRINGFIELD, he has been interested in flying discs or ob jects for a number of years and has cooperated with the United States Air Force to the extent of furnishing the Air Force with any information on flying ob jects coming to his attention.Mr. STRiNG- FIELD was also the publisher of a paper called the "Orbit", which 10 Civilian Research, Interplanetary Flying Objects". The "Orbit" was a monthly publication which carried information and intelligence research by STRINGFIELD on flying ob jects. According to STRINGFIELD the "Orbit" had a limited circulation. In connection with Dr. REICH's letterSTRINGFIELD stated that prior to the receipt of the letter he received a long distance telephone call from Dr.REIcH on March 121957.This call was received by him in the early morning prior to his departure and that during the phone conversationshe made reference to some most part spoke on matters that were "over his head" and things that he did not understand.According to STRINGFIELD, she concluded 376 letter was the reason for his call on the FBl/ 2 -Bureau62-83894RMEnclosures-2 LU 6APR1957 -NorfolkRMEnclosure-1 2 -Cincinnati100-11671) 1-65-199 RECORDED-83 AJM:JL (6) ENCLOSURE NCLO.ATTACHINDEXED-83
