Marshall filed a bankruptcy petition in the Central b6 b7C District of California on January 25, 1996. In that petition she omitted several assets from the schedules.. alleges that Marshall fraudulently listed only one item of jewelry worth. $40,ooo.0o in her possession at the time of the filing. She also fraudulently stated that she had suffered a loss of approximately 17 items of jewelry in the Spring of 1995 due to a thefts from her home safe in Cypress, b6 Texas and from her home in Los Angeles, California. b7C Marshall claimed that her former. stole the jewelry. However, no insurance claims were filed. by Marshall.
