(HCuA) at Washington, D. C., on Aprtl 23, l958. This statenent
General
Chennault, who commanded the Fourteenth Untted States Air Force
in the Far East during World War II, has been a leader in
the struggle against international communtsm for the past
twenty years.

did not feel that the American people appreciated how serious
