FELEG Patrick F. Fallon, Jr. Section Chief - Financial Crimes Section Federal Bureau of Investigation Section Chief Fallon began his career as a special agent with the FBI in January 1992. He. was first assigned to the Jackson Division, where he investigated public corruption and white collat crime. In 1997, Mr. Fallon transferred to the Washington Field Office where he worked public corruption and white collar crime. Additionally, Mr. Fallon was the Crisis Negotiation Coordinator for WFO. In that role, Mr. Fallon deployed overseas on several occasions, including assignments to Ecuador and Israel to assist in freeing American citizens held captive.. In 2o08, Mr. Fallon was promoted to Supervisory Special Agent in the Inspection Division,. assigned to the Internal Investigation Section. After a year, Mr. Fallon was selected to serve as the Acting Chief of the Audit Unit of the Inspection Division. In 2010, Mr. Fallon became the. Supervisory Special Agent of WFO's Criminal/Cyber HUMINT squad.. In 2013, Mr. Fallon was promoted to ASAC Pittsburgh, responsible for Intelligence,. Strategy, and Administration. In February of 2014, Mr. Fallon assumed responsibility for Pittsburgh's Criminal and Cyber branch. In May 2015, Mr. Fallon reported to FBI Headquarters in Washington, D.C. to serve as the. Section Chief of the Financial Crimes Section within the Criminal Investigative Division. He currently oversees the Economic Crimes, Financial Institution Fraud, Health Care Fraud, Intellectual Property/Cyber Enabled Crimes and Forensic Accountant Programs.. Prior to his appointment to the FBI, Mr. Fallon, a CPA, worked for the Baltimore office of. the Big 6 accounting firm, Coopers & Lybrand, where he developed an expertise in auditing publicly traded corporations, including utilities, mutual funds, and investment companies..
