Representative Robert Ney who was trying to extort monies from
Ney.
On or about 12/11/2o05, writer was advised by SA
about a report regarding a telephonic threat made toward Ney
from

Congressman Ney, the subiect stated, "I'm going to kill you."
When Ney asked why,.
replied, "there's many reasons, I
just want to kill you.'
On a few occasions.

Ney that unless he gave him a large sum of money, he would
release information to the press which would destroy Ney's re-
election campaign.
WFo has been in contact with Ney regarding the
extortionate attempts. Both Ney and his Senior Policy Advisor
who would have been in the best position to place a
consensually monitored phone call to capture the extortionate
threat have declined to assist wFo on the advice of their
respective counsels..
Inasmuch as the threats toward Representative Ney were
