From 1976 to the present, Jewish Hospital of Cincinnati has verified a non- existent medical residency for Dr. Edward A,/Patrick, of Cincinnati and Union, Kentucky. The hospital has done so despite being aware that Dr. Patrick never participated in any medical resideacy program at the hospital. The hospital has repeatedly verified this non-eristent medical residency to multiple state medical boards, the American Medical Association, and to numerous employers, allowing Patrick to obtain medical licenses and to practice medicine in Ohio and other states. Dr. Patrick currently holds active medical licenses in seven. states; five of his state medical licenses and his board certification list false dates of birth which shave ten years off his actual age.. 2. Dr. Henry J/Heimlich and while employed by Jewish b6 b7C Hospital, submitted false affidavits dated November 5, 1976 to the State Medica! Board of Ohio stating that Dr. Patrick had been practicing medicine at Jewish Hospital for the previous 1-1/2 years. These affidavits allowed Dr. Patrick to obtain his Ohio state medical license on December 29, 1976, a license he has maintained to the present. At the time they signed these affidavits, Drs. Heimlich and b6 were aware b7C that Dr. Patrick had never practiced medicine at Jewish Hospital, that he did not possess any state medical license during most of the 1-1/2 year period described in the affidavits, that Dr. Patrick was not a member of the hospital's residency program, and that Dr. Patrick had gained access to Jewish Hospital not as a. physician, but as primary investigator on National Science Fonndation grant #ENG 7404i18. This was an engineering grant run through the electrical engineering department of Purdue University. Throughout this entire period, Dr. Patrick was fully employed as a professor of electrical engineering at Purdne University,West Lafayette, Indiana, a three-hour drive from Cincinnati. 3o9 - 0-39j 1 AUTOMATED INDICIES 1
