They provided overwatch and dignitary protection. They had another team from Washington County SwaT positioned below them, in "about the same the suspect was positioned. position was 345 yards away from where. the suspect was positioned.. b6 -6 b7C -6 While they were doing overwatch, they heard a report come over the radio about a "guy with a rifle on the roof.". was already in contact with. the Secret Service counter snipers to advise them that the Butler County ESu snipers were all wearing multi-cam. The Secret Service counter snipers were also aware of the Butler County Esu snipers' positions. The Secret Service knew right away that the suspect was not a Butler County Esu sniper. dpuonas gan! At about this time, just before he transitioned b7C -6 from the binoculars to his rifle, observed a counter sniper on the far barn reposition his tripod toward the AgR building.. Before could transition to his rifle, he heard gunshots. By the time. had eyes on that location, the suspect was already down and over the crest of the roof. never saw the suspect..
