O'DuYER's failure to prosecute ANASTASIA while O'DYER was Brooklyn District Attorney. F'r mer Mayor hILLIAM O'DnYER gave testimony. in the 6th hcaring of the Senate Crime Investigating Committee at United States Courthouse, Foley Square, concerning his reasons for not prosecuting ALBeRT AlAsTASIA. These reasons all center asout the fact that RLes was the main State witness against AiAstAsIA and as a result or his, RELes', death the inaictment was dismissed.. According to B.B. Turkos, RELes, Murder, Inc.. infornant, stated prior to his death at the Half Moon Hotel, that ALceRT AlAsTasIA was tne boss of Murder, Inc. and that no murder could be committed without ALBERT ANASTASIA's permission. EDWARD A.
