March 18, 1968 ALL INFORMATION CONTAINED MR. AND MRS. DANNY KXYE - A program for a dinner, which was held on March 23. 1942, and which was sponsored by the United American Spanish Aid All Committee, listed the names of Mr. and Mrs. Danny Kaye. The United American Spanish Aid Committee bas been designated pur- suant to Executive Order 10450. An article published in the newspaper "pm" on July 15 1945, quoted Sylvia Fine, wife of Danny Kaye, as stating that Danny Kaye was Treasurer of the Hollywood Section of the Independent Citizens Committee of the Arts, Sciences and Professlons and that Sylvia Fine was an Executive Board member.. The Independent Citizens Committee of the Arts, Sciences. and Professions has been cited as a communist front by the House Committee on Un-American Activities in a report dated April 18, 1949.
