They were fed only twice a day; once in the morning prior to going out to sell, and at. night when they returned from a 12-14 hour workday. Victim became very ili but the leader for the West Coast refused to get her to a doctor. She was made to go to to the factory owned by the Church where the trinkets that they sold. were made, and forced to work in this factory and to sleep there as well. She became sicker, so was sent to to be "cured." The method used consisted of surrounding the ill. person and beating them with the hand, while claiming the sick. person was possessed by evil spirits that must be beaten out.
