at approximately 8:30 PM on June 4, 1968, he had received
a telephone call from a man who identified himself as

asked him what he intended to do about the

"marker" that he had at Caesar's Palace. He said that he
told
that he didn't know anything that he could do
about paying this "marker" as he didn't have any money and
he owed a lot of bills.
then told him to wait a minute
at which time a man who identified himself as a
came to the phone and became very aggressive about his
paying the money that he had lost there gambling several weeks
ago.
told him that he did mt care who he owed or how
much, but gambling was legal in Nevada, and that he
had come out there and lost this money gambling, and Caesar's
Palace wanted their money.
said he requested
to call him back at
approximately 5:30 PM, June 5, 1968, at his office phone
inasmuch as he could not discuss the matter at his home
because his wife was present and may overhear the conver-
sation.
told him he would call him back at 5:30 PM,
June 5, l968, for his answer regarding payment of this debt.
