FD-302 (Rev. 10-6-95) -1 - FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION Date of transcription 05/09/2006 Office of the b6 Secretary of the Commonwealth, State House, Room 337 Boston, MA 02133, b7C was interviewed at his office. was advised of the identity of the interviewing agent and the nature of the interview. He then furnished the following information: stated that a legislative bill can be filed in the b6 Massachusetts House by any citizen of the Commonwealth. A bill will b7C receive more serious consideration, obviously, if it is filed by a legislator. People routinely ask that their representatives in the State House file bills that are of interest to them. stated that a citizen of Massachusetts can have any b6 b7C on their behalf. However, it would usually raise red flags if a representative in Springfield sponsored a bill about something which occurred in Swampscott, for example. reviewed cpoies of Senate Bill Number 2365 (2004) and b6 Senate Bifl Number 44 (2005). He stated that Senate Bill Number 2365 b7C was not sponsored by DIANE wILKERsON. The site at the top of the bill reflects that DIANE wILKERsON chaired the Committee on State Administration, the committee to whom this bill was referred for filing. She would have had no connection to the origination of the bill. The subseguent bill, Senate Bill 44 was sponsored by BRIAN A. JOYCE. stated that anything, or nothing, could have happened b6 to change the wording of the bill from one year to the next. His b7C records reflect that on 02/23/06, Senate Bill Number 44 was reported favorably by Committee and referred to the Committee on Senate Ways and Means, where it currently resides. A bill can reside in the Ways and (cpA), there will be a deed restriction placed on the property in the Norfolk County Registry of Deeds.
