Murray, Deputy Ceremonial Officer, Office of Special Events, Military District of Washington, Ft. Lesley J. McNair, Washington, D. C., has made available an album of photographs concerning the military honors rendered Mr. Hoover while lying in state at the Rotunda,. as well as a copy of the funeral plan followed by the military. Unless other disposition is desired, these two items will be maintained along with other memorabilia of Mr. Hoover. Attached is an appropriate letter to Mr. Murray. acknowledging receipt of these items. A letter was previously sent from Mr. Gray thanking him for his splendid cooperation and assistance rendered in connection with the funeral.
