SAC Harvey Foster, New York, telephonically. advised at 9:23 a. m., that he had just talked with the Attorney General and that Mr. Kennedy was planning to leave Lake Placid at approximately 3:30 to 4:00 p. m., Eastern Daylight Time, aboard the airplane Caroline. SAC Foster stated at. this time it was not known exactly when the Caroline would arrive in Lake Placid to bring Mr. Kennedy back to Washington. He stated he could be contated at Lake Placid, today, in the event any additional information was desired..
