DIRECTOR, FBI : noxd SAC, DENVER ATTORNEY GENERAL ROBERT KENNEDY For the information of the Bureau, Attorney General KENNE' and his wife arrived in Denver at ll:l0 s.m., this date'and were mety at the plane by the press, Governor amd Mrs. STEpHEN L. R. MC NIcHOLS and USA LAWRENCE M. HENRY and his wife. He was also met by the SAC, Denver and was offered every assitance. Attorney General KENnEDY then met with the United States Attorneys from Colorado, New Mexico, Wyoming, and Utah and the Assistant United States Attorneys from Colorado and heads of all Federal Law Enforcement Investigative Agencies in Colorado. The United States Attorneys discussed various cases they were prosecuting. The Attorney General was excellently briefed in connection with the problems facing the United States Attorneys as well as Law Enforcement Agencies in this area. This discussion appeared to be most satisfactory to the Attorney General as well as the individuals in attendance at this conference. Subsequently he had lunch at the Hilton Hotel with the Governor and the United States Attorneys and the Federal Judges from Denver and from the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals including Judge WILLIAM E. DOYLE who has just been appointed to the Federal Bench in Denvey. At 3:30 p.m., the Attorney General and his wife departed via automobile for Aspen Meadows, Colorado. Only one problem arose in which the Attorney General evidenced a keen interest. This was a problem of narcotics agents in Albuquerque which concrned them and the City of .From the statement made by the USA at Albuquerque it appearedcthat there was no cooperation offered by the City of Albuquergue to'the federal Narcotics Agents.
