The reason for subject's threats was subject's frustration with money he perceived Pearlman owed him. Subject was interviewed by FBi New. money. Since subject's confession, Pearlman has been the subject of an FBI mail/wire fraud case involving losses in excess of $100 million. Pearlman was subsequently arrested and indicted, and his trial is pending in the Middle District of Florida. Pearlman would not be a credible victim/witness.
