Republican Club is aiso known to be an after hours lounge, which. is catered by well known entertainment individuals who frequent the pittsburgh, PA, area. The Guademas Club has maintained its operation continuously for the past l0 years. It is known (Guademas Club) to only function as being a gambling establishment. The Guademas Club itself was raided on 1l/17/73, in connection with a Title IlI b3 b6 At the time of the raid, a pittsburgh b7C police oificer was found inside of the club, and was believed to b7E be participating in the gambling activities. Investigative officials of the Pittsburgh Police Department (ppd) have been contacted regarding activitics tal:ing place at the Guademas Club. PpD officials acknowledgcd that it was known that the alleged activities wcre indeed taking place. However, it was not at that time considered to be a vital concern.
