and was New York Bureau Chief before being appointed the Asian Business Editor in 2007. Previously,
he was the New York and Tokyo Bureau Chief for The Baltimore Sun and a senior editor for Forbes. He

the Acting Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence at the U.s. Department of the.
Treasury. During his nearly 13-year tenure at Treasury, Mr. Szubin served as the Director of Treasury's
Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and Senior Advisor to the Under Secretary for Terrorism and

International Studies (SAis) faculty as a Distinguished Practitioner-in-Residence.
Ivan Timofeev is Director of Programs at the Russian International Affairs Council (RlAC) in Moscow.
is an author or co-author of more than 70 publications, issued in Russia as well as abroad. In 2013, Dr.
