b6 b7C DERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATIO August 27, 1971 Dot hyas contacted in his orfice at the Houston Club Building.. furmished the following. infomation: ladvised that he is the Senior Trust Officer for the First Trust Company of Houston. He. advised that the Iirst Trust Company of Houston issued collateral trust notes, Nunber Rirai48 and Rir2l49. He stated that to the best of his memory these notes were issued. on September 27, 1967. He stated that he was advised that these securities were lost, strayed, or stolen by the person to whom these securities'had been issuea, cat they had been stolen in a burglary of his home. He stated. that this information yas relayed to him through a telephone call. He stated that [told him that a variety of. securities were stolen and that was calling all the. companies involved, to notify them or the theft. He stated that this telephone conversation was confimed by a lette. frcm attorney whose name he recalled to be. also advised that the date on the seal on these notes is' the date of Firat Trust Company of Houston, Incorporated,. charter.
