Johnstown, Pennsylvania, "Tribune-Democrat," telephonically -adyised. sA. of' the following information: lindicated that at approximately 3:0o PM b6 b7C call from an. individual who refused-to identify himself by name. This individual indicated that he had been having. difficulties with a local car dealership and-that this dealer. Ship had recently taken his' car: for no .apparent' reason. He. advised this dealership also has $8oo of his money... The individual advised. that he had contacted several attorneys, however, no one had been willing to..help him. in this matter.. ladvised that approximately hale way through,this conversation, the individual related. to her that. he had. a 12. guage shotgun at home and was going.. to. begin: to shoot people, not. to kill them, but merely to maim them. Jrelated that. the names. Attorney Attorney l ana a former b6 .Alderman in Johnstown, Pa., were mentioned by this, individual.. b7C He also advised. that he had sent a threatening letter to. "The Congressman," but. Iindicated he did not specify Congressman Jonn p. MurrhA and to the best of her recollection, did. not make any direct threats against. Congressman MurrnA. lindicated that she recalied that he had stated that he had previously contacted the Legal Aid in Pittsburgh,. Pa., and mentioned that he intended on going could get some relief for his problem. He advised that he would call her back following his visit to Pittsburgh. stated that through the process of contacting individuals mentioned in this above described telephone conyersation, she had determined that one a resident of Johnstown, Pa., has had problems with an automotive transmission, company..dating back for several years and that b6 has complained in the past of being unable to obtain any legal redress or assistance in connection with b7C this matter..
