FD-302(REV.3-10-82) FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION 08/29/90 Date of transcription date of birth b6 was advised of : b7C the identity of the interviewing Agent and the nature of the. interview, and thereafter voluntarily furnished the following information: a First Union Bank employee, was located at her desk sometime around 11:30 to 11:40 a.m. on the eastern sideiof the bank. While assisting a customer, Jobserved an unknown male enter the bank immediately announcing, "Hands up, this is a robbery, don't move, don't set off any alarms". As this individual made his announcement,. noticed he was holding a gun out in front of him with both hands. He turned to the tellers and. b6 at this point Iset off her bank alarm. She remained seated and b7C observed the unknown male walking towards the teller counter. At this point her view of the area in which the teller counter was located was limited by a support post and a counter. She overheard. some banging around and noted that the bank robber at one point. asked one person, "There's not any kind of devices". did not hear the reply. A short while later the robber screamed at b6 who was located near the front entrance of the bank. was b7C apparently making a small motion to customers outside the bank who were about the enter. The bank robber yelled at 'I see what you're doing, signaling someone, don't do that" Shortly thereafter the bank robber came back out to the front of the bank. and took up his "defensive stance" with his gun, headed out the door and announced. "Don't anyone move, don't do anything".
